I bought this “hard to find” CD back in 2001 which I left in Canada. Now, I can’t find the darn thing anymore. Good enough someone uploaded an audio-only video in YouTube for everyone’s listening pleasure. For Filipinos, the tune is a familiar one, sung by The Hotdogs and Ella del Rosario of the 70s era, entitled “O, Lumapit Ka” (literally “Hey, come near me”). No one knows if any of them paid royalty to the original composers.

And speaking of composers, if history serves me right, Antônio Carlos Jobim wrote the lyrics to this song João Gilberto penned the chords and first recorded it in the 50s or 60s.
