If you don’t know who Peter Frampton is, you’re probably hibernating somewhere in Tibet where internet access is a spurt of a few minutes each month (LOL!) No reason to say you weren’t born yet. “Baby, I Love Your Way” was the soundtrack to the 1994 “Reality Bites,” featured in the episodes of Californication, Cold Case, Family Guy, and That 70s Show, including movies such as Halloween and High Fidelity. Even Filipino Bossa Nova singer Sitti recorded a version of this song in her second album.

“Baby, I Love Your Way” was written and performed by Peter Frampton that was first featured on Frampton’s 1975 album, Frampton. His international breakthrough album was his live release, Frampton Comes Alive! The album sold over 6 million copies in the United States alone and spawned several hits, also peaking at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The success of Frampton Comes Alive! put him on the cover of Rolling Stone, in a famous shirtless photo.

Today, Peter is on the road with The Frampton Comes Alive 35th Anniversary Tour that showcased and followed exactly the songs played at that famed night in San Francisco where the famous Frampton Comes Alive album was recorded. The concerts each night started with the prerecorded thump of a microphone being turned on, that was so familiar to many fans of the album, followed by that recorded voice saying, “If there was ever a musician that was an honorary member of San Francisco society, Mr. Peter Frampton”…and then the crowd goes wild. He played the album song for song to a dizzying 69 locations between June 15, 2011 and October 22, 2011 throughout the United States.
